About the Parade

This December, Russell Street turns into Toyland. The Orangeburg Christmas Parade returns Sunday, December 6, at 4:00 p.m., and this year’s theme, “Christmas in Toyland,” calls on every float, band and walking group to bring a little childhood wonder downtown. Generations of local families have made the parade part of their holiday season, and we look forward to you joining us!

• When: Sunday, December 6, 2026. The parade steps off at 4:00 p.m., and the event runs until 7:00 p.m.
• Theme: “Christmas in Toyland”
• Route: Russell Street, from Seaboard Street to Magnolia Street, in downtown Orangeburg

Registration

Businesses, churches, nonprofits and community groups can enter floats, walking or performing units, classic cars and more, and every entry should carry this year’s “Christmas in Toyland” theme. Entry fees are $50 for most categories and $75 for business and commercial entries, and Chamber members save $10.

Applications are due by close of business Tuesday, November 24, with a $15 late fee after that. Download the registration form for full parade rules and return it to chopkins@orangeburgsc.net.
