The Orangeburg County Chamber of Commerce is proud to support the Orangeburg County YMCA, and we want to help get the word out about the incredible lineup of programs and events they have coming up! We encourage you to take a moment to review what's happening at the Y and share these updates on your social media pages, with your neighbors, and with anyone who might be interested.
Here's a quick look at what's happening at the Y:
Co-Ed Youth Flag Football (Grades 4th–8th): The Y has partnered with the Willie Jeffries School of Excellence to bring Flag Football to Orangeburg! This program is open to all co-ed youth in the community—you do not have to be a student at the school to participate. Learn more.
Annual Zumbathon & Waterpark Season Finale (August 8th): The annual Zumbathon falls on the very last day the waterpark is open for the season, making it the perfect opportunity to come out, celebrate, and give back to the annual campaign. Learn more.
LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA: The LIVESTRONG program is starting back up. This is a completely free program designed to support anyone who has ever heard the words "you have cancer." It will be offered in the evenings to reach more people. Learn more.
Homeschool Swim and Gym: A brand-new Swim and Gym program tailored specifically for local homeschool families is in the works. Learn more.
Fall Volleyball League: A volleyball league is in the works for this fall, with more details to come soon!
Along with fun Group Exercise classes, swim lessons, basketball clinics, bingo, art activities, CPR classes, and Senior Potlucks, the Y stays busy making a difference in the community. Learn more.
There's a lot going on at the Y to keep the community active, healthy, and connected. Sharing these programs on your social media and in-house helps reach as many families as possible. Thank you for your continued support!
