About the Festival

After two years we are thrilled to announce the return of the Festival of Roses!
For almost half a century the Festival of Roses has offered families the opportunity to enjoy the arrival of spring and engage with vendors from across the South East. This year's event promises to continue the tradition with food and fun for all ages.

Schedule of Events

Festival of Roses Street Dance

Friday, April 29th | 6:00-10:00pm | Downtown Market Pavilion

Join DORA and the community for the Annual Festival of Roses Street Dance in downtown Orangeburg! The street dance features live music from Terence Young Party Band, food trucks, vendors & adult beverages!

Festival of Roses Day 1

Saturday , April 30th | 10:00am-6:00pm | Edisto Memorial Gardens (200 Riverside Dr. SW, Orangeburg, SC)

The Festival of Roses kicks off with a day of food, flowers and fun! As guests arrive the roses will be in full bloom, so be prepared to enjoy the full magic of the Edisto Memorial Gardens!

The first day of the festival features performances showcasing the local entertainment of Orangeburg. Acts feature dancers, singers, and musicians of all ages, but they all share one thing in common - a whole lot of talent! This is the perfect event for a picnic so, so grab a chair and we'll meet you there!

Festival of Roses Day 2

Sunday, May 1st | 12:00-6:00pm | Edisto Memorial Gardens (200 Riverside Dr. SW, Orangeburg, SC)

The Festival of Roses continues with another day of food, flowers and fun! 

The second day of the festival features a community-wide church service from 1:30 to 5:30pm. The service will feature music by Jasmine Johnson, Taylor Jones, Northside Baptist Church Ladies Quartet, Anna Stutzman, Tehillah, Tonya Ceasar & Company, and The National Juniors. Prayer will be led by Mayor Michael C. Butler, Donald Oliver, J.P. Sibley, Shane Stutzman, Shawn Taylor, and others. Please bring your own lawn chairs or blankets for seating.

Festival of Roses Road Race 5k

Saturday, May 7th | 8:00-10:00am | Orangeburg Fine Arts Pavilion

Come run, jog, or walk with us at the Festival of Roses Road Race 5K on Saturday, May 7! Proceeds benefit the Y’s Annual Campaign, which provides financial assistance to those in our community who need the Y’s life-changing programs and services the most. The Y’s community support addresses many issues such as chronic diseases, swim safety, and senior feeding programs.
