In this hands-on watercolor workshop, students will explore the fundamentals of color theory while learning how watercolor behaves on paper. Participants will become familiar with different types of watercolor brushes and practice creating a variety of brushstrokes. The class will also introduce how to adjust pigment and water ratios to achieve different levels of color saturation. Students will experiment with three essential watercolor techniques: wet-on-wet, wet-on-dry, and dry brush, before applying their new skills to create a beautiful sunset dock painting. This workshop offers a fun and supportive introduction to watercolor for beginners and emerging young artists. $60 per participant.
